The Primal Way Digest – 27 November 2016
Welcome to another edition of The Primal Way Digest, bringing you the latest science, articles, videos, podcasts and anything else related to health, performance and optimizing your life!
Hello Primal Tribe, welcome to another edition of The Primal Way Digest. This week starts off with an article a little different than the usual stuff – The Case Against Reality. Its written by a professor of cognitive science and is a fantastic read for understanding our perspective of reality. Then, back onto the usual topics, there is another article and podcast on sustainability and meat, a topic I’m frequently talking about and trying to support. Another paper on the effects of sleep and weight gain is below as well as some new research that has been presented yet again on the negative effects of wheat . As I’ve always been an advocate for movement as medicine, there is now more and more research showing how vital movement and mechanical stimuli is for health and regeneration. A recent article from Harvard is below that discussed a paper covering how mechanical stimuli helps muscle regenerate . There are a bunch of other great articles and papers as usual, so dig in!
This section is for those that enjoy (and have access to) the nitty gritty sciency stuff
