The Primal Way Digest – 30 October 2016
Welcome to another edition of The Primal Way Digest, bringing you the latest science, articles, videos, podcasts and anything else related to health, performance and optimizing your life!
Hello Primal Tribe, welcome to another edition of The Primal Way Digest. This week we have some great articles, including a nice piece on fasting and autophagy following the recent Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine given to Yoshinori Ohsumi from his work on Autophagy. There is also a fantastic guide to the deadlift by Greg Nuckols of Strength Theory, but be prepared for a LONG read. This is one of the most important lifts and also the one that so many people do incorrectly. In the nerding out section, there is a fantastic article on land use practices and the effect on organic matter in the soil . This is huge for understanding TRUE sustainability. Animals, especially grazing animals are a vital part of the complete ecosystem. There is also a massive paper identifying key microbiota associated with IBS, this is fantastic news for future treatments . In the video section I’ve linked to a new documentary, SEED: The Untold Story that is out in select areas. This is a documentary about the importance of seeds and the monopoly and destruction of Monsanto.
This section is for those that enjoy (and have access to) the nitty gritty sciency stuff
